Quality of Life Survey

Respond to the 2019 Quality of Life Survey (10-15min)

ASGC’s annual Quality of Life survey gives us a chance to hear from students first-hand about the quality of life issues that are most relevant to their experience at Columbia.

Survey highlights are presented to Provost Coatsworth as well as Dean Alonso and other members of GSAS administration. Survey data is accessible to the public (see below for reports).

Please take the time to fill it in and forward to a colleague: it only takes about 10-15 minutes, and the greater our sample, the better able we are to advocate for changes on behalf of the graduate student body.

All answers are confidential, and in the end you will be offered the option to enter a prize draw for one of ten Amazon vouchers worth $50, and one worth $150.

The survey is overseen by the Quality of Life Chair and sent out to GSAS MA and PhD students as well as PhD students in other departments throughout the university each year.

We welcome comments and suggestions for how the survey can better measure the Columbia GSAS graduate student experience.
